At Pie in the Sky Pie Co, we believe that food is more than just a meal—it’s an experience that brings people together. For over 20 years, we’ve been baking homemade pies, desserts, and comfort food that warm the heart and satisfy the soul. From our humble beginnings in a small-town kitchen to becoming Conroe’s favorite bakery and restaurant, our mission has remained the same: to create delicious, handcrafted meals and desserts made with love.
How It All Started
In 1997, our founder, Marlene, returned home to her family’s small-town convenience store after chasing dreams of being a singer. It was there, in the back of the store with a small kitchen setup, that she rediscovered her love for baking. Her earliest creations—cherry pies, banana nut bread, and homemade sweets—quickly gained popularity, and what began as a side passion soon blossomed into something much bigger.
In 2005, with the support of her family and a deep belief in the power of homemade food, she opened the first Pie in the Sky Pie Co. What started with hand-wrapping pies and printing labels from a home PC has grown into a thriving local business known for its famous pies and heartfelt meals.

While we’re known for our award-winning pies like Coconut Cream, Key Lime, Chocolate Cream, and Southern Pecan, we offer so much more. Our all-day breakfast, lunch, and dinner options include comforting favorites like sandwiches, wraps, casseroles, and sweet bread. And for dessert lovers, our cake balls, cookies, and brownies are always a hit.
We also specialize in catering for corporate events, family gatherings, and celebrations and provide wholesale cake balls and pies to businesses across the US.
